Our Nurses are expected to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Licensed Nursing Assistants. Supervision must comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the Merrimack County Nursing Home, as well as directives from the Director of Nursing Services or Unit Coordinator, to ensure the highest quality of care at all times.
Education: Completion of a four-year high school course or equivalent, and graduation from a practical (vocational) nursing program with a diploma.
Experience: One year of experience as a staff nurse is preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the NH Board of Nursing. A drug screen and criminal background check are required for all conditional hires.
