The Clinic Director leads the day‑to‑day operations and overall profitability and growth of their assigned clinic(s). As Clinic Director you will oversee and mentor a high‑performing and engaged team of front office and clinical staff that consistently delivers best‑in‑class patient care. The Clinic Director is also responsible for their own patient caseload and delivers direct patient care.
What You’ll DoStaff Management
- Manage and supervise staff (physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, techs/aids, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and front desk) on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Participate in hiring, training, and onboarding of clinical team.
- Create and lead annual staff performance reviews; continually provide feedback and mentor staff to ensure high performance.
- Serve as a mentor and/or clinical instructor in coordination with CPTEs New Grad Mentorship and Student Affiliation Programs.
- Prepare and lead clinic staff meetings.
- Address all staff issues and maintain an open‑door policy for staff to express concerns and ideas for improvement.
- Develop individualized plans of care and treat patients through all phases of physical therapy with an emphasis towards compassionate, comprehensive and evidence‑based approaches, restoring patients to optimal function.
- Complete daily patient care, progress and discharge notes.
- Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources.
- Manage clinic schedules in partnership with QA Director to ensure patient scheduling convenience and appropriate frequency to achieve therapy goals.
- Meet or exceed clinic goals related to defined key performance metrics (KPIs); prepare and submit weekly report of KPIs that include visits per week, units per visit, arrival/cancellation rates, among others.
- Ensure clinic equipment is in good, working condition; monitor and assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
- Maintain clinical logs and checklists necessary for clinic compliance.
- Ensure that all patient care and documentation is compliant and in accordance with CPTE Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Participate in quarterly chart review and quality assurance.
