This is a 24-hour position. The ideal schedule would be Wednesday 9am-3pm, Thursday and Friday 1-7pm, and Sunday 9am-3pm.

$18 - $24 hourly, based on experience + applicable shift differentials and full-time modified compensation options

We're looking for an Activities Assistant who enjoys connecting with people and creating meaningful experiences. In this role, you'll work alongside the Activities Director to provide recreational, social, and wellness programs designed around residents' interests, abilities, and individual needs.

Whether you're helping lead a group activity, spending one-on-one time with a resident, or helping coordinate an outing, you'll play an important role in keeping residents engaged, connected, and involved in their community. This aligns with the position's responsibility for resident programming, participation, outings, documentation, and resident engagement.

• Assist with planning and facilitating group activities, individual visits, and recreational and wellness programs.
• Get to know residents and their families to better understand individual interests and encourage participation.
• Escort residents to activities and assist with community outings, appointments, and events.
• Help create and maintain monthly activity calendars.
• Document resident participation and response to activities.
• Observe and communicate changes in resident mood, behavior, or engagement.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate resident needs and activities.
• Help maintain organized and accessible activity supplies.
• Promote resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, safety, and infection-control practices.
• Participate in required training, safety drills, and quality-improvement activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, creative, and energetic approach to working with residents.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the team.

Eligible full-time employees may elect Modified Compensation calculated at 10-20% of the base rate in lieu of select benefits.
