Mountain Valley is a nonprofit residential treatment program in Plainfield, New Hampshire specializing in evidence-based care for adolescents and young adults whose lives are significantly impacted by anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and related disorders. Focused on helping young people build skills, resilience, and confidence through individualized clinical therapies and supportive community living, the center’s mission is to empower residents to “make fear less” and re-engage meaningfully with life and relationships.

THIS JOB IS IN PLAINFIELD, NH (IN-PERSON!)

$5,000 RELOCATION BONUS (after 90 days of employment)

Position:Full Time In-Person Anxiety & OCD Clinician

Salary:Salary for unlicensed therapists starts at $70,000. Salary for licensed therapists starts at $85000 up to $90,000 per year. Excellent Benefits & Free Gourmet Farm to Table Meals!

Education Requirements:Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work.

  • For unlicensed clinicians:
    Mountain Valley will provide supervision toward licensure with a New Hampshire Board Approved Supervisor.

Hiring Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Counseling or Clinical Social Work required.
  • Passion for working with adolescent, young adults, and families required.
  • Experience providing CBT and exposure therapy for OCD and anxiety disorders preferred.
  • Licensed clinician preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with adolescents and young adults preferred. Experience treating anxiety and related disorders is preferred.
  • Experience implementing treatment modalities such as CBT, ERP, ACT, and DBT are preferred.
  • Experience working in a residential setting is preferred but not required.
Job Description:

Clinicians at Mountain Valley provide clinical services to a caseload of 3-5 residents during a 90 day stay. Clinical duties include: providing individual, family, and group therapy; developing and revising treatment plans; coordinating care within the program, communicating with external providers, collateral contacts; and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Our therapists work as part of a supportive treatment team that includes a Clinical Director, psychotherapists, psychiatrist, occupational therapists, residential counselors and nurses. For those pursuing licensure, we provide free clinical supervision and excellent specialty training.
