Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the resort’s standards for cleanliness, presentation, safety, and guest satisfaction. This position leads and supports housekeeping staff, coordinates daily assignments, conducts quality inspections, manages supplies, and works closely with Front Desk, Maintenance, and other resort departments.

The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on hospitality professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards while creating a positive and productive team environment.

Essential Responsibilities Supervise, train, coach, and motivate housekeeping attendants and other housekeeping staff.

Assign daily room and public-area cleaning responsibilities based on occupancy, arrivals, departures, and operational needs.

Inspect guest rooms, suites, public areas, and other assigned spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet resort standards.

Address housekeeping deficiencies promptly and follow up to ensure corrections are completed.

Coordinate closely with the Front Desk regarding room status, priority rooms, early arrivals, late departures, and guest requests.

Respond professionally to guest concerns and work to resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.

Monitor inventory of linens, towels, cleaning products, guest amenities, and equipment.

Maintain proper storage, organization, and safe handling of housekeeping supplies and chemicals.

Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, and staffing needs.

Train employees on cleaning procedures, resort standards, safety practices, and proper equipment use.

Ensure employees follow resort, and department safety procedures.

Report maintenance issues, damages, lost-and-found items, and safety concerns through appropriate channels.

Assist with deep-cleaning projects, seasonal preparations, special events, and high-occupancy periods.

Maintain professional communication with other departments and management.

Help control housekeeping expenses while maintaining appropriate service and cleanliness standards.

Perform housekeeping duties personally when needed to support the team and maintain operations.

Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
