Overview

Timberland:
Analyst, Marketing Measurement & Effectiveness. This role leads the efforts to measure, optimize, and report on all working marketing investments within the North America Marketing organization. The analyst will collaborate with marketing, regional teams, global brand partners, and external agencies, and will help set the objective framework for marketing with clear, measurable results. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Media, Retention and Analytics.

It is a hybrid role, working 3 days/week out of our headquarters in Stratham, NH.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of best-in-class marketing reporting, blending platform and business data through data visualization to give marketing leadership insight into holistic marketing performance.
  • Work with regional marketing leads to help them understand and optimize channels through data visualization and storytelling.
  • Partner with regional teams on A/B testing, brand lift studies, and other data-backed learning agendas to drive organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager on setup and review of major measurement milestones with key agency and media partners.
  • Help establish new processes for communicating learnings across regional, global, and corporate organizations.
  • Support ad hoc reporting to identify consumer trends, understand business challenges, and identify opportunities to achieve short-term and long-term regional objectives.
  • Continue to develop marketing measurement techniques by blending Mixed Media Modeling, Incrementality Testing, and Attribution to provide a clear statistical perspective on investment decisions.
  • Manage the bi-annual data collection process for Mix Media Modeling Studies and help set key business questions and requirements.
  • Become a subject matter expert on marketing measurement techniques including incrementality, mixed media modeling, and 3rd party data platforms.
Qualifications

The role requires 3+ years of experience in Marketing Measurement/Analytics or a related field, or a Bachelors/Master’s with a distinct focus in Marketing Measurement/Analytics. The foundation skills include:

  • Excellent data analytics with hands-on experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for business partners.
  • Experience working with digital marketing data platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Tik Tok Ads, focusing on performance metrics and actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization with trust and transparency.
  • Foundational understanding of core principles of marketing measurement and modern measurement frameworks.

There are also a few preferred-but-not-required skills, including:

  • Certifications with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or other data visualization tools.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, or Tik Tok Business Manager.
  • Experience with Consumer Data and Consumer Data Insights.
  • Experience with 3rd party data platforms like Similar Web, SEMrush, Google Trends, or other data research platforms.
  • Experience with website infrastructure and data tracking.
Compensation and Benefits

Hiring Range: $68,000.00 USD - $85,000.00 USD annually. Incentive Potential: eligible for additional compensation awards, including an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Details provided during recruitment and interviewing.
