Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to deliver first-line technical assistance for end users in a busy healthcare environment. This long-term contract position is well suited to someone who combines strong troubleshooting ability with a service-oriented approach and clear communication. The role focuses on resolving day-to-day desktop, application, access, and connectivity issues while ensuring users receive prompt and attentive support.

Candidates should also be prepared to complete a 4 to 5-week training program before becoming eligible for a hybrid work arrangement based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to user calls and service desk requests, investigate reported issues, and work toward timely resolution.
• Diagnose problems involving Windows-based desktops, laptops, software applications, and basic network connectivity using established support methods.
• Route more advanced or unresolved incidents to the appropriate technical teams with accurate documentation and context.
• Set up, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, and related end-user equipment for new and existing staff.
• Support user administration tasks such as account setup, password assistance, access updates, and permission adjustments within Active Directory and related systems.
• Record troubleshooting steps, outcomes, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system to maintain clear service history.
• Explain technical solutions in a user-friendly manner and provide dependable customer support to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Contribute to additional IT support activities and operational projects as business needs require.
