* The Role:

**** Lead Daily Infrastructure Operations
** You’ll oversee and support our network, server, and cloud infrastructure at the European Tour Group headquarters, acting as a key escalation point for the wider team.
** Support Live Event Technology
** From wired and wireless networking to server, security, and event staging support, you’ll be a central figure ensuring flawless delivery of the technical infrastructure our tournaments depend on.
** Deliver Technical Projects
** You’ll help design, document, implement, and support technical projects—both onsite and remotely, working closely with internal teams and contracted third‑party suppliers.
** Keep Our IT Engine Running
** When not at events, you’ll support the service desk with desktop support, break/fix issues, and ongoing maintenance of corporate and event equipment.
** What you’ll be doing:
*** Maintain and support network, server and cloud infrastructure, acting as an escalation point within the team
* Provide technical support for event‑based networks (wired, wireless, security, server)
* Lead onsite escalation working alongside third‑party tech providers
* Produce and update technical documentation for project delivery
* Install, configure and support infrastructure solutions remotely and on site
* Provide third‑line support to clients and manage technical contractors
* Assist in the assessment and development of corporate and event assets
* Work with event staging teams to capture and deliver technical requirements
* Support technical consultancy and audit services
* Contribute to service desk operations and desktop support when required
** What You’ll Bring
*** 5+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure Support Engineer or similar
* Strong knowledge of Office 365, Entra , Azure and AWS
* Solid understanding of networking and security best practices
* Experience with network security appliances and access control platforms
* Proven technical project management experience
* Skilled in deploying and supporting enterprise LAN/WLAN infrastructure
* Hands‑on experience with wired/wireless network configuration and troubleshooting
* Understanding of fibre optic and copper cabling best practices
* Knowledge of industry health & safety standards
* Experience with HPE Aruba platforms (Aruba Central) is advantageous
* Excellent communication, customer service and collaborative skills
* A flexible, solutions‑focused approach with a “can‑do” attitude
* Willingness to travel throughout the event season
* Previous event‑based technical experience
