Location: Amherst
Micro Precision seeks detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Staff to support our Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement team. In this role, you will receive, inspect, label, and ship test and measurement equipment for global aerospace, electronics, and manufacturing customers. You'll verify documentation, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate carriers to meet strict quality and compliance standards. Working in our collaborative, quality-focused environment, you'll contribute to reliable logistics processes while gaining exposure to calibration, metrology, and international customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming equipment and materials against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Prepare, pack, and ship outbound equipment according to customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and locations in the warehouse and ERP or inventory system.
- Label, tag, and track assets to support calibration, repair, and asset management workflows.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and internal teams to meet turnaround times.
- Complete and file shipping, customs, and compliance documentation as required.
- Follow safety, quality, and handling procedures to protect sensitive test and measurement equipment.
- Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

- Familiarity with calibration or test equipment logistics (preferred)
