Maintenance Technician

Base Pay Range: $18.00 / hr - $22.00 / hr

Responsible for maintaining assigned properties in a manner that promotes the highest level of resident retention, market appeal, and safety in accordance with the procedures of SHMS.

• Satisfies service requests per work orders generated by the Supervisor, Tenants, or Property Manager.
• Assists with apartment turnovers following company procedures.
• Performs grass-cutting/landscaping, snow removal, and cleaning as determined for the property.
• Assists in maintaining inventory of all equipment/tools/supplies at property.
• Pick up trash at property daily and every other weekend.
• Clean all property areas daily and when condition demands, e.g., spills, dirty lobby areas.
• Attend all appropriate instructional classes at the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner, e.g., daily, weekly & monthly reporting forms, work orders, travel expenses.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Availability Monday–Friday with evening and weekend flexibility.
