Will-Mor Manufacturing seeks an experienced CMM Programmer/Operator to add to our team!

The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and generating CMM programs used to inspect and verify production materials and components, ensureing all parts meet quality standards required in the aerospace and defense sectors. Work directly with Quality Engineering resources to determine inspection criteria and best practice inspection techniques. Operate measurement equipment to perform machine trials on newly developed part programs and prepare them for machine readiness.

Requirements
  • Program Development: Create, execute, and run programs on Zeiss CMM machines using their Calypso software.
  • Inspection Criteria: Review blueprints and specifications to establish inspection criteria in accordance with best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous inspection and testing to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with CAM programming, Quality Inspectors, and Machinists to develop appropriate in-process manual inspections and optimize final inspection strategies.
  • Documentation: Write detailed inspection plans, including CMM fixturing setup.
Skills & Experience
  • Education:

    Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 - 5 years of related experience in CMM Programming.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software, strong understanding of CMM Programming, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and quality inspection processes.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
