- - - Responsibilities:
Safely handle and fill gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations and Airgas procedures;
Inspect cylinders prior to filling and perform safety checks;
Prepare high pressure cylinders and attach to manifold, evacuating to remove contaminants;
Fill cylinders by pressure and weight and accurately label them;
Operate forklift and manage paperwork to regulatory bodies (DOT, FDA, OSHA) and Airgas standards
