Job SummaryThe CNC Machinist will independently set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes in a fast‑paced, precision‑driven environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to hold tight tolerances, and confidence making program edits at the machine. Ideal candidates bring deep experience machining complex parts from challenging materials.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes with minimal supervision
- Edit CNC programs, adjust offsets, and optimize machining performance
- Machine parts to tight tolerances and required surface finishes
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- 4+ years of CNC machining experience on mills and/or lathes
- Strong setup, tooling selection, and inspection skills
- Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Ability to make CNC program edits at the machine
- Experience holding tolerances to ±.0005"
- Exposure to materials such as Inconel, Titanium, or Molybdenum preferred
- Hourly pay range: $27–$35, based on experience
- Overtime opportunities available (typically 40–55 hours/week, voluntary)
