As a Master Scheduler at Green Source Fabrication, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to support customer commitments, optimizing factory flow, and maximizing on‑time delivery. This role serves as the central coordination point between Production Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Quality to ensure capacity, materials, and priorities are aligned with business and customer needs.

The Master Scheduler owns schedule integrity, drives proactive communication, and leads cross‑functional problem‑solving when constraints, risks, or disruptions arise.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the master production schedule across all process flows.
  • Balance customer demand, available capacity, material availability, and operational constraints to meet OTD commitments.
  • Act as the primary scheduling interface between Production Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks, capacity risks, and schedule conflicts; elevate issues early with recommended mitigation plans.
  • Prioritize work based on customer requirements, lead times, material readiness, and production status.
  • Coordinate schedule changes driven by engineering updates, quality holds, material shortages, or equipment downtime.
  • Support new product introductions, LRIP, and engineering builds by integrating them into the master schedule.
  • Maintain accurate schedule data in ERP and support scheduling tools.
  • Communicate schedule status, risks, and recovery plans clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on cycle time reduction, throughput improvement, and schedule stability.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly production planning and review meetings.
  • Support long‑range capacity planning and demand forecasting efforts.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production flow, and throughput management.
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Working knowledge of ISO‑based quality systems, disciplined process control, Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and OEE.
  • Effective problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Clear, direct communication skills with the ability to coach, set expectations, and hold others accountable.
  • Comfortable making decisions and addressing performance issues promptly and professionally.
  • Proficient with basic production metrics, reporting, and standard manufacturing systems.
  • Decisive and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, integrity, and professionalism.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or Vocational Training. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree a PLUS.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in PCB manufacturing or a similar fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in a formal leadership, supervisory, or coaching/mentoring role.
  • Experience working in production/manufacturing operations, preferably in Production Control, Procurement, Planning, or related role/field.
Working Conditions

This role requires regular presence in both office and production floor environments. The position involves routine computer work, documentation, and collaboration, along with routine time spent on the production floor. The role requires standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as the use of standard office equipment. Must be able to navigate manufacturing areas and work 8‑hour shifts plus extended hours when needed.
