Key

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut, etch, and pierce metal materials
• Plan and lay out cutting sequences using blueprints and production drawings
• Select and install correct lenses and adjust machine settings for various material types and thicknesses
• Align, fit, and rework parts that do not pass inspection
• Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance and report machine malfunctions
• Load and position sheet metal blanks, requesting assistance for heavy materials
• Maintain clean and safe work area in accordance with company protocols

You should have most of the following:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience operating CNC laser or similar metal-cutting machinery
• Minimum 1–2+ years of metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing experience
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
• Ability to plan and sequence cutting operations independently
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
