• Operates a forklift to move products and pallets throughout the warehouse to designated areas, maintaining safety at all times.
• Communicates discrepancies, product issues, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Moves and scans products using a radio frequency scanner to ensure correct location and accurate labels.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, free of debris.
• Anticipates business needs, keeping like products together and accessible.
• Completes Novo forklift training and operates a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo.
• May place stand-up items into designated areas by hand as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• Effectively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements.
• Ability to move awkward product lengths and weight.
• Experience operating a forklift with a rate rating of 6,500 pounds.
• Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company-approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating a forklift primarily with product weights of 2,500 lbs. or more.
• Pior experience lifting wide loads as long as 18 feet.
• Minimum one year of experience operating a forklift.
• High School Diploma or GED.
