• Review and ensure cylinders prior to filling, following established guidelines to meet government, Airgas, and distributor standards; conduct safety checks such as odor tests, checking caps and valves; analyze products for purity and correct mixtures.
• Take care of high‑pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders; prepare high‑pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling; attach to manifold, evacuate cylinders to ensure excellent quality and purity; fill cylinders by pressure and weight per regulations and standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading cylinders on and off pallets and tractor trailers; experienced in using a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate records to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards; complete quality‑control sheets as required.
• Be knowledgeable of hazards of various gases, cylinder sizes and contents by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color‑coding of tanks; support accurate labeling of cylinders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school degree or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude.

• Prior experience utilizing SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; ability to compute ratios and percent.
• Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures applicable to this position’s responsibilities.
• A minimum of 1 year of related technical experience; in lieu of specific industry experience, may accept an equivalent combination of education and experience.
