Production QC/QA, Electronics Technician
Position
Full‑time Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician. Hourly, non‑exempt position at Newton Scientific, a subsidiary of Rigaku Corporation.
Hours:
Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times; optional overtime on evenings or weekends as required. Work apparel is casual.

Qualifications- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
- 3+ years of electro‑mechanical assembly or test experience; related experience in other fields considered.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, meters, function generators, etc. (preferred).
- Experience with soldering—SMT and through‑hole (preferred).
- Experience with adhesives, epoxy, RTV for encapsulation (preferred).
- Build, assemble, test, and verify electrical and/or mechanical units.
- Perform precision assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
- Communicate with team leads and managers regarding questions, production schedules, and inventory concerns.
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions, designs, and schematics to meet specifications.
- Maintain accuracy while meeting production schedules.
- Maintain a neat, orderly work area and equipment; manage packaging waste disposal, proper storage, and equipment usage.
- Maintain documentation needed to perform duties.
