CNC Machinist

Location: Contoocook

Adecco Staffing is working with a precision manufacturing company in Contoocook, NH to hire experienced CNC Machinists for 2nd Shift. This is a full-time opportunity for machinists who enjoy complex setups, high-precision work, and working with advanced CNC equipment.

We are seeking candidates with experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC machining centers, including 3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe equipment. This position offers competitive pay, a 4-day work week, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work on challenging, high-tolerance components.

** CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer

** Shift:
** Monday - Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

** Pay:**  $27.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on experience)

* Job Duties:

* - Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining centers and lathes

- Run complex machining jobs with tight tolerances

- Modify and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and productivity

- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offsets

- Work from blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings

- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment

- Verify conformance to print specifications and GD&T requirements

- Assist with fixture design and process improvements

- Support less experienced machinists with technical guidance

- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain organized workstations

- Follow all safety and quality procedures

* Qualifications:

*
* - 3+ years of CNC machining, setup, and/or programming experience

- Experience with 3-axis, 5-axis machining centers and/or CNC lathes

- Experience modifying or creating CNC programs

- Knowledge of G-Code programming

- Experience with Mastercam, Win Max, or similar programming software preferred

- Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings

- Understanding of GD&T and high-tolerance machining

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery and moving equipment
