Production Associate - Weekend Shift (Sat & Sun

Overview

A Production Associate is responsible for front‑line production needs at Ruger Firearms. Basic to complex machine operation is required, including CNC turning and milling machines, assembly work, and other duties as assigned. The role supports a high‑volume, medium‑mix manufacturing environment and participates in Lean Manufacturing and daily Kaizen activities.

Hours include Saturday and Sunday from 3am to 3pm. Various shifts are available, and off‑shifts include additional shift differential pay.

• Operate CNC turning and milling machines, assembly equipment, and other production tools.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, supporting the Company’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and daily Kaizen initiatives.
• Ensure visual alertness, hand dexterity, and attention to detail throughout the shift.

• Time management, dependability, flexibility, and attention to detail.
• Previous machine operator or high‑volume, medium‑mix manufacturing experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma is preferred but not required.

The position requires frequent standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching, as well as lifting up to 40pounds several times throughout the day. The job is performed standing all day.

• Minimum of 18years old.
• Must pass a background and drug screen.
• Must be able to work the specified shift times.
