Pad Printer Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup:
Adjust and calibrate pad printing presses, align plates (clichés), and set proper pressure. - Ink Preparation:
Mix and test inks for correct color matching and viscosity. - Operation:
Load parts, run print cycles (often using foot pedals), and monitor daily production. - Quality Control:
Inspect finished items for smudges, misalignments, or defects. - Maintenance:
Clean silicone pads, ink cups, and clichés; perform routine mechanical troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing or production setting. - Technical
Skills:
Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and fix press issues. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds. - Attention to Detail:
Strong visual acuity for precise alignment and defect detection
