Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: Up to $31.69/hr.
Our client is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to provide temporary support to the Footwear Development team during a maternity leave. This individual will play a key role in coordinating product samples, managing reporting, and supporting cross-functional development activities to ensure projects stay on track.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced product development environment, is highly organized, and enjoys partnering across Development, Engineering, and Product teams.
Responsibilities- Support the Development team by managing collaboration and SMU reporting.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound product shipments and ensure samples and materials are distributed to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with FLEXPLM data management, Smartsheet reporting, and recurring Excel reporting and analysis.
- Manage inline product shipments and help maintain organized sample inventory and tracking processes.
- Support the Engineering team by assisting with fit sessions, sample evaluations, and sample organization.
- Partner closely with Development, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Help maintain workflow efficiency, project timelines, and business continuity during temporary team coverage.
- Provide general operational and administrative support to the Product Development organization as needed.
- Experience supporting product development, product operations, or a related function, preferably within footwear, apparel, or consumer products.
- Experience coordinating inbound/outbound shipments and managing product samples.
- Familiarity with SMU reporting and sample tracking processes.
- Experience with FLEXPLM or other PLM systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis.
- Experience supporting fit sessions, sample evaluations, or product testing is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and project timelines.
