Location: Warner

We are seeking a skilled Admin/Calibration Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for performing data acquisition and calibration of new and customer owned data loggers to meet our published specifications and/or the customers custom calibration requests. The Calibration Laboratory Technician is expected to work side by side within the calibration team to learn and utilize the correct methodology and equipment required to deliver accurately calibrated products to our customers.

Duties
  • Review incoming orders for accuracy against customer requirements and internal order details.
  • Review completed orders for accuracy before leaving the Calibration Lab.
  • Communicate order status to other departments.
  • Generate Open Order reports.
  • Close jobs for inventory and job labor.
  • Commit devices to orders.
  • Review Calibration Certificates for accuracy.
  • Print Calibration Certificates and labels.
  • Assist in consumable changes on devices. (O-Rings, Batteries)
  • Assist in calibrating devices using proprietary calibration software.
  • Be an effective communicator within the team of calibration technicians.
  • Program and operate laboratory equipment such as deep well baths, temperature/humidity chambers, pressure generators, Liquid Nitrogen dewars, and computers.
  • Process the calibration of data loggers using various calibration media, i.e., silicone oils, compressed nitrogen, methanol, and water.
  • Collect calibration data, interpret results using technical, proprietary data logger software.
  • Plan and orchestrate various product needs through multiple stages of calibration and successfully navigate roadblocks to plan for the day/week.
  • Process Custom Calibration orders.
  • Keep the laboratory and equipment in clean working order by following maintenance plans and instructions.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Associate degree in relevant field (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Being able to prioritize tasks effectively is crucial.
  • Basic Computer

    Skills:

    Familiarity with office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.) and basic data entry or database management will be highly valued.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all calibration activities.
Soft Skills
  • Collaboration skills to collaborate with team members across different departments, so being a good team player is essential.
  • Handle situations as they arise, such as troubleshooting, scheduling conflicts or addressing minor issues that might come up during administrative processes.
  • Adaptability
  • Embrace changes to the plan, assist in navigation around obstacles to the workflow.
