Role DescriptionThe Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Goodwell Foods facility in Pittsfield, NH. This role oversees the maintenance team and ensures all production equipment, utilities, and building systems operate safely and efficiently. Typical responsibilities include planning and executing preventive maintenance programs, scheduling and supervising maintenance and repair activities, coordinating with production leaders to minimize downtime, and managing spare parts and maintenance-related inventory.
The Maintenance Manager also develops and enforces safety procedures, maintains documentation of maintenance activities, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and productivity.
- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance Management and Supervisory Skills to lead the maintenance team and coordinate daily activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills to diagnose issues and restore equipment to safe operating condition.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to design, implement, and refine scheduled maintenance programs.
- Relevant experience in food or manufacturing environments, with knowledge of safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements, is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced production setting are preferred.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Limble and basic proficiency with MS Office or similar tools is an advantage.
- A technical diploma, certification, or degree in maintenance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
