Auto Body Painter

Location: Pittsfield

Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, priming, and final prep work Mix and match paint colors accurately Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using professional spray equipment Perform painting and refinishing on cars, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment Blend panels for seamless repairs and color consistency Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and color accuracy Maintain paint booths, spray equipment, and work areas Follow all safety, environmental, and shop procedures What We're Looking For Proven experience as an Auto Body Painter / Refinish Technician Strong knowledge of paint preparation, color matching, and blending techniques Experience using spray guns, paint booths, and refinishing equipment Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred

Preferred Experience Commercial truck, trailer, or heavy equipment painting Advanced color matching and finish correction skills ASE Painting & Refinishing Certification
