A middle school in Swanzey, NH is seeking a qualified 1:1 substitute nurse (LPN or RN) to provide specialized care for a student during specified dates throughout the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting a student with complex medical needs in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a student with specialized health requirements
• Monitor residual and delay bolus feeding and administer feeds via pump and G-tube
• Monitor heart rate and oxygen saturation as needed to ensure student safety
• Perform oral and nasal suctioning and provide mouth wound care as necessary
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe, supportive environment for the student

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with school nursing experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and respond to medical needs promptly
• Strong communication skills for working with educators, families, and healthcare providers
• Comfort with medical equipment such as feeding pumps and suction devices
