Responsibilities
  • Responsible for administration medications and documentation in accordance with the standards set forth by Harmony Homes and as directed by the Executive Director.
  • Replenishes medication and supplies as needed and maintains nursing station cleanliness.
  • Keeps licensed personnel informed of significant observations in resident care and environmental condition, supply and equipment needs and performance problems.
  • Assist in serving meals and busing tables during mealtimes if necessary.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including self-management, monitoring, or supervision of medications, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Document information pertaining to changes in resident’s functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
  • Report concerns about residents to supervisor and co‑workers.
  • Respond to resident emergencies and arrange for appropriate medical attention.
  • Identify supplies needed to perform tasks and report needs to supervisor.
Shifts Available
  • Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Education and Qualifications
  • Must be a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) with Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) certification.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
  • Spend long periods of time walking/standing.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school degree or equivalent GED preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates with 1–2 years prior experience working with the elderly, preferably in a residential setting.

License/Certification
  • MNA License (Required)
