Summary
The Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) provides services designed to evaluate, promote and support the health and safety of Concord Hospital staff (employees, volunteers, medical staff, students, contractors, and other populations). The RN reports directly to the Nurse Manager. The RN collaborates with Human Resources, Infection Prevention and Control, Safety personnel, supervisory staff, employees, and external providers. Responsibilities include post‑offer health screens, immunity screening and vaccination, infectious disease screening, detection and prevention, employee illness and injury services, medical surveillance, health and wellness services, and promotion of a safe work environment.
The RN assists with the case management of occupational health, ADA accommodations, drug screening results and workers’ compensation.
Associate’s degree (A.D.) or diploma in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
ExperienceThree or more years of clinical nursing experience. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team setting and establish positive cross‑functional relationships. Must have proficient typing and data‑entry skills.

The employee may be exposed to airborne pathogens, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, airborne contaminants, electrical hazards, non‑weather related heat or cold, slippery surfaces, toxic or caustic chemicals, and variable weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
