Maine Health Memorial Hospital seeks a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Associate (PPA) to join our team in North Conway, NH.
The provider will join our Behavioral Health team with Maine Health Primary Care and Pediatrics – North Conway, a well-established practice offering complete care to all ages. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric consultation and care to help shape services for a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic. Educating the care team on psychiatric approaches to behavioral health conditions is an exciting part of the role.
This practice is well versed in integrating behavioral health into the patient experience. They value the partnership with behavioral health clinicians and APPs and work collaboratively to optimize patient outcomes. Being integrated into a practice reduces stigma for patients, increasing their willingness to participate in care.
Full‑Time, 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree as Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
- Two years’ experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Associate with patient care in a community mental health center or hospital is preferred.
- Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner by the NH and qualified to do psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Specific credentialing criteria needed if working in the hospital as defined by Medical Staff By‑Laws.
- Advanced skill and knowledge in conducting psychiatric evaluations and treating psychiatric patients.

The pay rangeThe pay range for this position is $118,138 to $152,885 annually based on the candidate’s level of experience.
