Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology position on day shift, requiring 2+ years of experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required upon submission
• BLS and other required certifications must be AHA-issued by start date if not already
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department unit setting
• 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Uses EPIC EMR
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local, which may affect pay rate
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months must disclose this upon application
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
