Aquatics & Aquarium Facilities Supervisor

** Roles & Responsibilities
** Train and delegate aquatic tasks to animal care staff, coordinate large scale maintenance projects with feedings, fish moving and exhibit cleaning

Work with Aquarium Director in spearheading and managing an internal dive program in accordance with OSHA regulations and ordinances, assist in the maintenance of equipment including regulators, air compressor & weight belts Monitor and maintain the Sensaphone sentinel monitoring system in all large exhibits, ability to respond and coordinate coverage to emergencies as needed in collaboration with Aquarium Director Assist in curating living collection of aquatic life in relation to aquarium exhibits, the animals’ specific needs in adequate welfare, and enhancing the guest experience in coordination with Aquarium Director & Animal Care Coordinator
** Requirements
* * Working knowledge of life support equipment including pumps, media filters, protein skimmers, UV sterilization, ozone generators and PVC plumbing Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment in both proactive measurements and in response to emergencies

Knowledge in water quality parameters and testing methods, troubleshooting fish health concerns, and maintaining functional exhibits
