Position: QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR
Location: Bow

, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Bow, NH. In this role, you'll help ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of the products we manufacture by leading quality processes, supporting regulatory compliance, and partnering with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate regularly with plant leadership and Corporate QA, reporting issues that impact feed quality, food safety, or regulatory compliance.
  • Enforce safety, housekeeping, and documentation standards while ensuring housekeeping activities are completed and properly recorded.
  • Lead monthly Quality Control committee meetings, maintain meeting documentation, and support internal and third-party audits.
  • Train and onboard employees on feed quality, food safety, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance across the facility.
  • Verify adherence to SOPs for ingredient receiving, bulk feed transporter verification, equipment cleanout, housekeeping practices, and mock recall programs.
  • Maintain and review quality records and production documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Oversee ingredient inspection, mycotoxin testing, sample collection, positive release programs, and investigations of failed lots or non-conforming materials.
  • Manage medication inventory, investigate non-compliant feed and customer complaints, and document corrective actions and findings.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
  • Computer skills, including the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Animal Feed current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).
  • Knowledge of animal Food Safety Plans, Preventative Controls and Hazard Analysis.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 55lbs from floor to working height as job requires.
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
TRAVEL
  • Minimal, training and department meetings.
