Job Overview
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $71,750 annually. This full‑time post‑doctoral position is located at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School in the laboratories of Drs. Mark Eldaief and Randy Buckner. The laboratories focus on functional neuroimaging, non‑invasive brain stimulation, and network neuroscience. The project studies the neural mechanisms underlying the efficacy of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treating depression.
Precision mapping of functional brain networks in patients with depression will be performed, followed by targeted TMS stimulation and subsequent behavioral and functional readouts using structured instruments and fMRI BOLD imaging.
- Perform precision mapping of functional brain networks in patients with depression.
- Apply targeted TMS stimulation to identified networks during separate sessions.
- Collect and analyze behavioral and functional data using structured instruments and fMRI BOLD imaging.
- Collaborate with laboratory team and contribute to data interpretation and manuscript preparation.

Qualifications- MD, PhD, or MD/PhD level degree.
- Strong background in functional MRI analysis methods (especially resting‑state functional connectivity) and programming in MATLAB and Python; familiarity with Free Surfer, SPM, FSL, AFNI, CONN toolbox, and Connectome Workbench.
- Background in biostatistics.
- Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS); combined TMS/fMRI experience preferred but not required.
- Clinical experience interacting with neuropsychiatric patients is preferred but not required.
- Post‑doctoral fellowship at MGH/Harvard Medical School
- Direct supervision by Drs. Eldaief and Buckner
- Publication of resulting manuscripts
- Presentations at national and international meetings
