Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time

Job Summary

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment.

• Pull merchandise from a pick list.
• Utilize a handheld RF scanner device to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from sales floor to staging area.
• Communicate inventory problems and expired or short-dated items included on pick list.
• Communicate with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.
• Work with team to pull merchandise from reserve area to avoid sales floor replenishment.
• Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and key performance indicators.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes and productivity standards with established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain the SFC area neat, clean and organized.
• Perform general housekeeping duties including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products per standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine handling (via DDR or Membership desk).
• Adhere to all club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Meet turnover expectations for service level agreements, performance metrics and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. The role may require frequent bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Continuous lifting of objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting and moving heavier objects with assistance. Work environment involves moving machinery, loud equipment, temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders, intermittent exposure to cleaning agents.
