Hourly rate: $15.00 per hour.

The Seasonal Peak Associate role is a temporary seasonal position that supports essential store operations, including register support, freight receiving, and product merchandising within designated areas, contributing to a positive customer experience and efficient store operations during peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service and build friendly rapport by exemplifying the T.R.E.A.T. model and fostering a welcoming environment.
- Operate a cash register efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and assist customers with product inquiries, item location, and purchases.
- Promote company-wide customer initiatives such as donations, loyalty programs, and special offers.
- Maintain accurate displays, restock assigned areas, and ensure merchandising standards are met.
- Unload deliveries, organize merchandise, and prepare items for the sales floor.
- Set up and move fixtures safely as needed.
- Collaborate effectively and independently to achieve goals, proactively communicating opportunities for improvement to store leadership.
- Understand, support, and implement safety protocols throughout the store.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and safe environment for customers and associates through regular cleaning and janitorial tasks.
- Prior merchandise receiving, handling, and stocking experience in retail or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Basic math and reading skills required.
- Legible handwriting and good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety and health hazard potential; may require constant extended periods of moving, remaining stationary, ascending or descending, and positioning oneself to complete tasks.
- Conditions may vary by store location; may include a sales area, stockroom/receiving area, and separate operations/office area with varying temperature, dust levels, and accessibility.
- Responsible for physical activities including using hand tools, ascending or descending a ladder, moving, reaching, and lifting frequently; must be able to lift 35 lbs regularly.
