Merchandiser, Retail

As a Merchandiser with Jacent Strategic Merchandising, you will execute in-store merchandising programs for major retailers, ensuring planogram compliance, product placement, and superior shelf presentation. You'll stock and rotate inventory, set displays, place impulse items, and report data and photos using mobile tools. Partnering closely with store teams and Jacent field leaders, you'll prioritize accuracy, timeliness, and execution excellence. This role offers hands-on experience in retail operations, exposure to category management, and growth opportunities in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute planograms and merchandising directives in assigned retail stores
• Stock, rotate, and face products to ensure optimal on-shelf availability and presentation
• Build and maintain impulse and promotional displays per retailer and Jacent standards
• Conduct basic inventory checks and communicate out-of-stocks or issues
• Capture and submit photos, reports, and data via mobile applications
• Collaborate with store management and staff to schedule work and resolve issues
• Follow company and retailer safety, loss prevention, and cleanliness standards
• Travel between assigned stores within territory using personal vehicle
• Maintain merchandising materials, fixtures, and signage in good condition
• Provide feedback from stores to Jacent supervisors to improve execution
