Merchandise Associate

Home Goods, a division of Widgets Co, is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandise Associate to support daily merchandising in our manufacturing-focused retail environment. In this role, you'll stock and organize products, maintain attractive, on-brand displays, and ensure shelves are clean, safe, and well-presented. You'll assist with receiving shipments, tagging and pricing items, and monitoring inventory levels. Working in our collaborative culture, you'll interact with customers, support store promotions, and help drive an efficient, visually appealing sales floor aligned with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor
• Create and maintain visually appealing product displays following brand guidelines
• Check inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors
• Ensure sales floor, shelves, and backroom areas are clean, safe, and organized
• Support pricing, tagging, and labeling of products accurately
• Provide friendly customer assistance and product location support
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and processing incoming shipments
• Follow company policies for loss prevention and safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet merchandising and sales goals
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits
