Retail Sales Associate

Seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. Whether helping a customer find the perfect ski jacket, fit a new pair of boots, or select the right accessories for a day on the mountain, our associates are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This role works across both hardgoods (skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets, and equipment) and softgoods (apparel, footwear, outerwear, and accessories). The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a passion for the outdoors, and is eager to learn about the products we sell.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet every customer and provide a welcoming, knowledgeable shopping experience.

Build lasting customer relationships through personalized service and expert recommendations.

Assess customer needs and help them select products that fit their goals, experience level, and budget across both hardgoods and softgoods.

Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including exchanges and returns.

Product Knowledge & Sales Develop strong working knowledge of both hardgoods (skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, bicycles, helmets, and equipment) and softgoods (apparel, footwear, outerwear, and accessories).Learn product features, benefits, and proper fit — including the basics of boot fitting, binding adjustment referrals, and, to confidently recommend merchandise.

Cross-sell complementary products and accessories to enhance the customer experience.

Stay current on new products, technologies, and seasonal merchandise through ongoing training and vendor clinics.

Merchandising Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked hardgoods and softgoods sales areas.

Replenish merchandise throughout the day and ensure products are properly signed and displayed.

Support seasonal floor sets, promotional displays, and merchandising standards.

Store Operations Assist with receiving, tagging, and stocking incoming merchandise.

Support inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

Support opening and closing procedures as assigned.

Follow loss prevention and safety procedures.

Teamwork Work collaboratively with team members across all departments.

Assist coworkers during busy periods and seasonal peaks.

Participate in product clinics, vendor trainings, and company meetings.

Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude every day.

Schedule & Availability Full-time and part-time opportunities available; specific scheduling (seasonal or year-round) depends on store location.

Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays required, particularly during the peak winter season (November through April).
