Plans and executes sales targets and activities in a specified region for the portfolio of a unit to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers and to achieve defined commercial targets.
The Account Executive, Point of Care manages a territory offering Siemens' Diagnostic Point of Care (POC) products, services, and solutions to new or existing hospital or hospital‑owned/operated customers directly and through channel partners. Territory:
New Orleans.
- Responsible for the direct and indirect sale of POC products, including Blood Gas, EPOC, and IT Solutions.
- Manage high‑volume hospital segments and prospect for new business while maintaining established customer accounts.
- Achieve sales goals through direct and distribution channels.
- Develop territory sales strategy to penetrate the hospital POC market through direct and distribution channels.
- Create growth forecasts and funnels for the POC product portfolio and/or distribution channels to ensure the highest level of service and overall goal attainment.
- Execute Sales and Marketing Strategic Imperatives established by senior sales and marketing leadership.
- Proven history of successful capital sales achievement with a minimum of five years of direct and/or channel partnership experience.
- Ability to influence distribution partners and collaborate across all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
- Familiarity with Miller‑Heiman or SPIN sales processes and methodology.
- Experience selling across multiple departments in complex direct and indirect capital sales within the hospital market.
- High level of presentation skills and ability to motivate and inspire others to exceed their goals.
- Reside in assigned territory with ability to travel.
- Experience selling point‑of‑care clinical products, respiratory or clinical laboratory diagnostic products is strongly preferred.

Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require employees and representatives to meet vendor credentialing requirements: proof of valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations (COVID‑19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus), annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
The base pay range for this position is: $93,600 – $128,700. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography, market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
