Sales Manager

Carter's is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth within our manufacturing and apparel channels. In this role, you will lead a sales team focused on baby and children's clothing for retail, e commerce, and wholesale partners. You will develop territory plans, set targets, and manage key accounts, using data to forecast demand and optimize product mix. Partner closely with merchandising, production, and logistics to ensure on time delivery and strong in store/online execution.

You'll coach and develop your team, build long term customer relationships, and represent Carter's family-focused, inclusive culture in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Develop and execute territory and account plans for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels
• Manage key customer relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional plans
• Analyze sales performance, forecasts, and inventory needs to optimize product mix
• Collaborate with merchandising, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
• Align sales initiatives with brand, marketing, and seasonal product strategies
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for leadership
• Identify new business opportunities and expansion within assigned markets
• Implement sales processes, KPIs, and best practices to drive efficiency
