What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site guidelines.

* Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping staff, patients, and visitors during routine and/or urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Meet hospital vaccine requirements.

* Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

* Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
