Job Summary

Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion is a leading concert venue dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. We are seeking a security guard to guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. The role may include operating metal detector equipment.

• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Escort or drive a motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection. Employees must successfully pass a motor vehicle background prior to operating any vehicle on behalf of the company.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Show care by participating in the venue’s sustainability program (e.g., sorting waste, collecting recycling, educating fans).
• Partner with fellow team members after shows to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and properly storing event equipment.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
• Enter and manage availability 3 weeks in advance through the ABIMM system and communicate any changes to the supervisor.
• Ensure that time worked is accurately captured through the ABIMM system.

• Ages 18 and up.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and, in some cases, a motor vehicle background.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures preferred.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, with only occasional sitting.

• Fast‑paced work environment.
• Extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and working on feet.
• Some positions must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
• Tolerance of loud noises.
• Night and weekend work required; possibility of shows on holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day).
