Restoration Technician

The Restoration Technician performs restoration processes to fulfill the service needs of individual projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment and vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities, including water extraction, fire damage repair, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, and equipment requirements with supervisors.
• Develop restoration skills to enhance the SERVPRO brand and grow within the company.
• Prepare work areas, set up staging, and ensure efficient workflow.
• Coordinate with management and team members for smooth operations.
• Perform cleanup and breakdown at the end of each job, leaving the site clean and orderly.
• Develop expertise in restoration services, cleaning products, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics)
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to work with cleaning agents

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred
• Strong work ethic

Work Hours and Travel:

This full-time position is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours weekly. It may require long hours, including evenings and weekends. Travel is primarily local, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible.

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
