Service Technician

Power Up Generator Service, established in 2007, is a full-service generator company specializing in the service, sales and rental of generators. Serving all of New England, the company operates 24/7/365 with a team of 10 full-time technicians and a robust parts inventory. Power Up provides reliable service with fully stocked, four-wheel-drive service vehicles, ensuring timely assistance. Additionally, the company offers 85 rental units ranging from 20KW to 2MW, with turn-key rental services including delivery, installation, and refueling.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Service Technician based out of New Hampshire. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing generators, performing preventative maintenance, and diagnosing and resolving issues. The role includes field service appointments, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring generators are functioning efficiently. Other responsibilities include documenting service activities and ensuring compliance with company safety standards during all field operations.

• 3-5 years of commercial/industrial generator experience
• EGSA certification is a plus
• Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Field Service operations is preferred
• Customer Service skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and build strong client relationships
• General understanding of maintenance practices and electrical equipment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical ability to work in various conditions and lift equipment as needed
• Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary
