Gutter Installer – Builders Installed Products of VT
As a Gutter Installer with Builders Installed Products of VT
, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing gutters, downspouts, and other related components on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring proper attachment, pitch, and water drainage.
- Load and log materials onto the truck
- Erect scaffolding and ladders
- Cut and hang 5" and 6" K‑style aluminum and copper gutters
- Cut and hang ½‑round aluminum and copper gutters
- Maintain good housekeeping on the job site, tools, and the company truck
- Install hangers, brackets, and other support structures to secure gutters
- Pitch gutters correctly for proper water drainage
- Install downspouts and related components
- Communicate with customers professionally and courteously
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Experience in the construction industry, including roofing, gutters, and siding
- Valid driver’s license required
- Boom lift certification preferred but not required
- Willingness to be flexible and collaborate with other departments
- Strong knowledge of gutter installation techniques and tools
- Ability to work at heights and on roofs
- Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
A gutter installer must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs., use common hand and power tools, climb and work from extension ladders up to 45 ft., and perform tasks role involves frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods, along with maintaining manual dexterity, attention to detail, and clear communication with team members and clients.
Installers work outdoors in various weather conditions and are required to follow all safety protocols. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Pay Range: $25.00-$35.00 an hour, depending on experience.
