Co-foreman Construction at Groundworks Operations, LLC

Working side‑by‑side with an experienced Foreman, you’ll lead crews, manage daily jobsite operations, and uphold our standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist Foreman with leading a high-performance team in a local market/area.
- Review job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed before reporting to the job site.
- Assess conditions of the job on‑site, develop plans based on time allotment, tools needed, and work order; assign duties to crew.
- Install products and services with support from a national team of trained professionals.
- Innovate and troubleshoot situations as needed to meet company standards and timetables.
- Provide customers with superior quality and service while on site.
- Ensure all final documentation is completed accurately and given to the proper parties.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, tools, and equipment and clean truck.
- Perform installation duties according to instructions, methods, standards, and timetables provided by Foreman and company.
- Drive company vehicles safely and meet all requirements to operate a company vehicle.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating work, accounting for labor hours and productivity.
- Supervise, lead, and mentor a crew of two or more people; lead crew in absence of Foreman.
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after completion of job, addressing any changes.
- Complete necessary paperwork, check‑in and check‑out procedures as needed.
- Know trade‑specific tools for installations and correct use and care of equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 22 kg and walk/stand for long periods.
- Perform strenuous labor, often under adverse conditions.
- Foster a positive team environment by building strong relationships and encouraging mutual trust, professionalism, integrity, and respect.
- Adhere to and promote company workplace policies and procedures, including safety and anti‑bullying, harassment, violence, or discrimination policies.
- Uphold the company’s positive image and reputation in the community.
- Regularly report to work on time each working day.
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player.
- Experience leading crews or small teams.
- Previous experience in construction, home services, or trade work.
- Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
- Valid, non‑restrictive driver’s license.
- Willingness to enter crawl spaces and other confined areas.
- Lifts heavy objects up to 50 lbs., walks and stands for long periods, and performs strenuous physical labor.
- Lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects using abdominal and lower back muscles.
- Requires good manual dexterity, multi‑limb coordination, and the ability to quickly move arms and legs.
- Requires excellent stamina.
- Requires vision to read reports, data, statistics, and information on computer screens.
