We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Technician with strong expertise in conduit bending, wiring, and complete electrical system installation. This role is responsible for installing and supporting conduit systems, pulling and terminating wire, installing cable tray, and setting lighting systems in industrial and commercial environments. The ideal candidate brings craftsmanship, field problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset. This role is expected to be a 3-6 month contract assignment but may offer the opportunity for longer-term employment.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit (RMC, IMC, EMT) to meet layout requirements
- Plan and execute conduit runs based on blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
- Perform complex bends (offsets, saddles, kicks, 90s) using hand, mechanical, or hydraulic benders
- Pull, route, and secure electrical conductors through conduit and cable tray systems
- Terminate wires at panels, junction boxes, control cabinets, and equipment
- Install and support cable tray systems (ladder, basket, and channel types)
- Install and wire lighting systems, fixtures, and associated controls
- Ensure proper labeling, grounding, and bonding of systems
- Interpret schematics and troubleshoot installation issues in the field
- Maintain compliance with NEC, project specifications, and safety standards
- 3+ years of hands‑on electrical installation experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Proven experience with rigid conduit bending and installation
- Experience pulling wire and performing clean, accurate terminations
- Familiarity with cable tray installation and routing practices
- Experience installing and wiring lighting systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Knowledge of NEC requirements and best practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (ladders, lifts, etc.)
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial facilities
- Prior field experience as an electrician or doing electrical work is a plus
- Ability to lead small teams or work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with control panels, instrumentation, or low‑voltage systems
Pay: $26-35/hr (Commensurate with experience)
