Installation Technician, Construction Labor / Trades, Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending upon experience
Piece Rate after 3 Months
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough jobsite inspections to determine the best method to proceed with the installation of high-pressure SPF.
- Apply appropriate SPF material at proper pass depths, strictly complying with all manufacturer specifications.
- Install vents, backers, and soffit blocking to ensure proper airflow for certain materials that may be installed above (e.g., blown in attics).
- Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to ensure proper coordination and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols during all SPF operations.
- Document work progress, including photographs, measurements, core samples, and detailed reports.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, as needed.
- Erect ladders and scaffolds.
- Operate equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying or holding a hose up to 150 feet long and weighing up to 56 lbs.
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday (if desired or needed)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to work in tight places or high places.
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and scaffolding.
- Frequently bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees.
- Proficient in using a variety of SPF tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Preferred:
Strong knowledge of SPF techniques, materials, and industry standards. - Preferred:
Lift Certification for Boom Lifts (not required).
Location Requirement: Westmoreland, NH – candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Physical DemandsThis role involves continuous physical activity on construction sites. The technician must stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb for prolonged periods, lift and handle materials and equipment up to 50 lbs, and operate spray equipment at various heights using scaffolds, ladders, or lifts. Exposure to outdoor conditions such as heat, dust, and noise is common. Precision, control, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift are essential for safety and compliance.
