Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter / Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will handle a wide variety of tasks ranging from finish carpentry and general home repairs to multi‑family property maintenance. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, a master problem‑solver, and someone who takes immense pride in the quality of their work.
Key Responsibilities- Carpentry & Remodeling:
Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall installation/patching, trim work, cabinetry, and installing doors/windows. - Property Maintenance:
Address community repairs including deck/balcony maintenance, siding fixes, fencing, and common area upkeep. - Unit Turnovers:
Efficiently handle repairs, painting, and fixture updates to get vacant units ready for new residents. - Basic Trade Work:
Handle minor plumbing and electrical tasks (e.g., swapping fixtures, fixing leaks, clearing drains) that do not require a master license. - Customer Service:
Interact professionally and respectfully with residents and condo owners while working in their homes. - [BONUS] Apartment/Condo Whole-Unit Servicing:
Prior experience providing full-scope, end-to-end maintenance and repair services for entire individual apartment or condo units is a major plus. This bonus capability means you can walk into a unit and independently handle everything from floor‑to‑ceiling carpentry, full drywall and trim restoration, to complete fixture updates—delivering a fully refreshed, completely serviced whole unit for the association or property manager.
- Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in carpentry, residential remodeling, or general trades. - Tools:
Must possess a standard set of hand and power tools appropriate for the trade. - Transportation:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. - Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and walk property grounds.
