We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, takes pride in quality workmanship, and delivers excellent customer service. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a wide range of vehicles while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using modern diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance services including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and inspections
- Complete major and minor repairs including but not limited to brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, electrical, HVAC, and engine systems
- Conduct multi‑point inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Document all work performed and communicate findings clearly
- Maintain shop equipment and ensure tools are in proper working order
- Follow safety procedures and uphold high standards of workmanship
- Stay current with new automotive technologies and repair techniques
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with scan tools, meters, and shop equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Must have own tools
- Excellent communication and customer‑service mindset
- ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with both domestic and foreign vehicles
- State inspection license preferred, not required
